It wouldn't be Star Trek without a convoluted time travel plot, which Discovery delivers with episode 7, "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad." This week, we are joined by cosplayer and Trek aficionado Michael Nguyen (sitting in for Derreck). We start the episode with a discussion of our favorite time travel themed episodes with a TNG classic and a couple of chroniton-packed DS9 episodes.

Then, we take our discussion to the details and plot points of "Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad," as well as some good-natured griping about the current state of pop culture criticism regarding Discovery. We discuss the music of Wyclef Jean, beer pong, and Trojan space whales. We also highlight our favorite Staments line so far, "As days go, this is a weird one."

Join our three-man crew for a journey that will span decades, every episode, every series, every movie, and every possible timeline no matter how small.
