How many of us self punish ourselves for the mistakes we made? I did it for years, ruminating over the things I got wrong, and I think many of us are guilty of the same. The way I used to talk to myself, about myself, became a slippery slope into my depression.

There are many positive experiences we have had too, and its easy to focus on the negative experiences more. Life isn't all about successes, that’s true. But we can use these as ‘lessons’.

It's a process during my coaching programme - looking back at all the experiences we as individuals have, and seeing how this learning can help us to live the lives we want to.

Please let me know your thoughts on this topic - how have you used past experiences, positive or negative, to fuel your future?
