Good Habits come from a desire for good things, and bad habits come for a desire for bad things. Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships, communion, associations corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character. (1 Corinthians 15:33)
As a born again believer, the child of the living God - God gives you you the power and desire to want to do those things that are pleasing him. He is the source of desiring good habits. And he is the power available in you and with you to accomplish them.
You need God's strength and wisdom to sustain God's good habits that he gives you the desire and power to achieve. It is not in your own strength for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you energizing and creating in you the power and desire, both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight. (Philippians 2:13 )
Yes, God is Who inspires and energizes you to desire to do Good Habits. (1Corinthians 12:6) Your body is the Temple of the Living God, You're a New Creation in Christ Jesus the old you died with Christ Jesus, and your new life in Christ Jesus as a new creation has begun. You have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, so too you are also one with Him in sharing His resurrection by a new life lived for God. Now you have the mind of Christ and yiu do hold the thoughts, feelings and purposes of His heart. (2 Corinthians 5:17, 6:16, Rom 6:5, 1 Corinthians 2:16, Isa 40:13)
