Strength for to-day is all that I need,

For to-morrow will prove but another to-day,

With its measure of joy  

With its challenge for more strength

 

With watchful eyes I do scan the horizon

With a consistent and fortified persistence.

And wait and watch for the crowd of fate

I partake in the actions that defend my existence

 

Strength for to- day; what a precious boon

For I am the soul who labors for more

For the willing hands that minister

To the betterment, to the strong, to those who will to thrive

 

Strength for to-day, that my strong heart endures

In the battle for right that I may refuse failure

And the eyes of a lion that sees his prey

In my search for life may I always come out on top

 

Strength for to-day, on the down-hill track,

For the travelers near the valley,

That up, far up, the other side

Ere long they may safely rally.

 

Strength for to-day-that our precious vigor

May happily shun temptation,

And build, from the rise to the set of the sun,

On a strong and sure foundation.

 

Strength for to-day, in house and home

To practice forbearance sweetly and unswervingly

To scatter respectful words and dutiful deeds,

Still trusting in the highest completely.

 

Strength for to-day is all that we need,

As there never will be a to-morrow;

For to-morrow will prove but another to-day.

With its measure of joy and strength

 

I am strong today

I measure out my joy

I seek the challenge

I come out stronger

I am disciplined thinking

I see the beginning

I see the end

My mind is set towards truth

I am consistent

I am fortified consistency

I am a persistent will

I am a continual drive

Fate waits on my response

I choose action

I am strong direction
