A hearing was held on Tuesday for the doomsday cult "prophet" Chad Daybell at the Fremont County Courthouse in Idaho. The judge presiding over the case, Judge Steven Boyce, ordered the trial be held in Ada County to ensure a fair, unbiased jury can be selected. Prosecutors presented arguments about transporting a jury from Ada County to be sequestered in Fremont County. Daybell is charged with multiple felonies, including first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The trial is scheduled for January 2023.
