This week's guest is the amazing storyteller and author, Yvonne Caputo. She takes us through her path to becoming a published author at 72. Her skills learned as an actress, teacher, and psychotherapist prepared her for the task of documenting her father's life as a WWII B-24 navigator. Yvonne's book 'Flying with Dad' tells the story of strengthening a father-daughter bond through getting her father to share stories he had never previously spoke about surrounding his years in the war. The stories shared in this episode range from shocking but funny differences in how things used to be to timeless lessons on intimacy, relationships, and death. Yvonne drops a deep takeaway about failure at the end of this interview that left us reflecting positively over her stories and our own failures.
