In this episode of Wellness Wisdom Camille interviews Candice Mallicoat, A Health and Wellness Coach specializing in chronic illness prevention and recovery.  Candice shares her journey with the diagnosis of Lyme Disease and feeling lonely and frustrated with not being able to control the 40 symptoms she experienced due to the disease. This led her to explore self-healing methods through learning about Ayurvedic Digestion and Nutrition that teaches that health and wellbeing depend on our bodies ability to digest what we take in from the environment.  Candice shares her “5 Elements of Wellness” that include self-care, community, and spiritual practices.  Candice points out how when we have symptoms or problems it is due to an imbalance in our body. Candice’s work includes exploring the Dosha (Mind/Body) type of each individual and using Mind, Body, and Spirit practices to restore balance and well-being to the whole person.
