Levítico 23: La Cosecha del Pentecostés.
Levítico 23:10-16:
“Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: ‘Cuando hayan entrado en la tierra que yo les doy y hayan segado su mies, traerán al sacerdote un manojo de espigas como primicia de su siega. Este mecerá el manojo delante del SEÑOR, para que sean aceptados. El sacerdote lo mecerá el día siguiente del sábado. El día que presenten el manojo, ofrecerán en holocausto al SEÑOR un cordero de un año, sin defecto, con su ofrenda vegetal de cuatro kilos de harina fina amasada con aceite. Esta es una ofrenda quemada al SEÑOR, de grato olor. Su ofrenda para derramar será un litro de vino. No comerán pan, ni grano tostado, ni grano fresco hasta ese mismo día en que presenten la ofrenda a su Dios. Esto es un estatuto perpetuo a través de sus generaciones, dondequiera que habiten. “‘Contarán siete semanas completas desde la mañana siguiente al sábado, desde el día en que presentaron el manojo de espigas de la ofrenda mecida. Contarán cincuenta días hasta la mañana siguiente al séptimo sábado. Entonces presentarán una ofrenda vegetal nueva al SEÑOR.

En este capítulo vemos la explicación de las fiestas solemnes que los israelitas debían celebrar conforme a la ley de Dios. Son fiestas dedicadas a Dios, y cada una tenía su significado especial delante de Dios: El día de reposo, la Pascua, la fiesta del Pentecostés (primicias), fiesta de los tabernáculos, de las trompetas, y de expiación.
No olvides leer todo el capítulo completo para que aprendas acerca de todas las fiestas pero hoy vamos a enfocarnos en la fiesta del Pentecostés.
50 días después de la Pascua se debía celebrar esta fiesta trayendo un manojo de espigas de trigo. Señal de abundancia y de bendición. Espiga de trigo simboliza crecimiento, abundancia y madurez.
Esto es muy simbólico porque Jesucristo murió y resucitó en la fiesta de la Pascua; y 50 días después, en el día de Pentecostés, descendió la promesa del Espíritu Santo sobre los discípulos, llenándololos de poder y autoridad.
En ese día, Pedro predicó el mensaje de salvación, y ¡alrededor de 3000 personas se bautizaron en el nombre de Jesucristo! ¡Este fue el ramillete de espigas cosechado en el día de Pentecostés! Los primeros frutos del Pentecostés fueron las primeras 3000 personas que decidieron seguir el Camino de salvación, que aceptaron a Jesucristo como el Mesías prometido, como el Rey de gloria en medio de ellos, como Aquel que fue llamado Emanuel, que significa Dios con nosotros.
¡Ellos representan los millones que serían cosechados para el granero del Señor para recibir vida eterna!
Así que, si alguien en tu familia o un amigo no ha aceptado al Señor, guíalo con paciencia a que conozca y acepte al Señor. Que sea parte de esta cosecha santa y, a la vez, convertirnos en obreros y seguir cosechando para el Reino de los cielos. Como dijo Jesús en Juan 4:35: “¿No dicen ustedes: “Todavía faltan cuatro meses para que llegue la siega”? He aquí les digo: ¡Alcen sus ojos y miren los campos que ya están blancos para la siega!”
¡Todavía estamos en Pentecostés! ¡Todavía el Señor está llenando con su Santo Espíritu, Su Palabra está respaldada con prodigios y milagros, y muchos están rindiendo sus vidas al Señor!

Leviticus 23: The Harvest of Pentecost.
Leviticus 23:10-16:
“Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. And you shall offer on that day, when you wave the sheaf, a male lamb of the first year, without blemish, as a burnt offering to the Lord. Its grain offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the Lord, for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, one-fourth of a hin. You shall eat neither bread nor parched grain nor fresh grain until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
‘And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall offer a new grain offering to the Lord.

In this chapter we see the explanation of the solemn feast that the Israelites had to celebrate according to God's law. They are feats dedicated to God, and each one had its special meaning before God: The Sabbath, the Passover, the Feast of Pentecost (firstfruits), the Feast of Tabernacles, of Trumpets, and of Atonement.
Don't forget to read the entire chapter so you can learn about all the feasts, but today we are going to focus on the Pentecost party.
50 days after Easter, this holiday was to be celebrated by bringing a sheaf of the firstfruits of the harvest. Sign of abundance and blessing. Sheaf of the firstfruits symbolizes growth, abundance and maturity.
This is very symbolic because Jesus Christ died and rose again on the feast of Easter; and 50 days later, on the day of Pentecost, the promise of the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples, filling them with power and authority.
On that day, Peter preached the message of salvation, and about 3,000 people were baptized in the name of Jesus Christ! This was the sheaf of the firstfruits harvested on the day of Pentecost! The firstfruits of Pentecost were the first 3,000 people who decided to follow the Way of salvation, who accepted Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah, as the King of glory in their midst, as the One who was called Emmanuel, which means God with us.
They represent the millions that would be harvested for the barn of the Lord to receive eternal life!
So if someone in your family or a friend has not accepted the Lord, patiently guide them to know and accept the Lord. That they be part of this holy harvest and, at the same time, we become workers and continue harvesting for the Kingdom of Heaven. As Jesus said in John 4:35: “Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!”
We are still at Pentecost! The Lord is still filling with His Holy Spirit, His Word is backed up with wonders and miracles, and many are surrendering their lives to the Lord!
