Dr. Sara Lincoln received a bachelor of music education degree from Northwestern University, a master of arts degree in English from the University of Chicago, and a doctor of arts degree in English and women’s studies from the University of Michigan.

During her professional career as a teacher of young children and college students, she learned much about interactive teaching methods, and used these same methods extensively in teaching the Bible.She taught Sunday Schoolfor about twenty years, mostly in classes of high school and college students, and she started an adult Bible study group.

A friend remarked that she had “a singular and practical approach” to Bible study and urged her to write a book, which she did and titled it: BibleAlive: A Guide to Discovering the Ageless Vitality of the Bible for Teachers and Students.
