This week on the DMT 1-2-1 show an interview with Jesse Lakes, CEO of the company GeoRiot. The company allows anyone to create a global buy link across iTunes and Amazon, making it easy for bands for example to post one link for their digital album that will work across the board no matter where the fans are located. Georiot also takes care of the affiliate marketing side of things by allowing those clicks to be tracked internationally and accurately.

On the show we focus on the potential uses for the music industry but Georiot can be used for anything else including Apps, eBooks, Movies and thanks to their Amazon integration even physical products.

Affiliate is still something many labels/bands don't implement at all or properly on their own sites and they may be missing out on a meaningful revenue stream.
