PAHO recommends measures to protect children from the pandemic’s indirect and direct effects, as more than 1.9 million children and adolescents reported being infected with COVID-19 in 2021.
Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) Director Carissa F. Etienne said today that COVID-19 has severely impacted the mental and physical health of children and adolescents in the Americas.
