Join David Hoffmeister on this first-day residential movie retreat in Utah! This intimate, in-person retreat is for those who desire to go deeper with the teachings of A Course in Miracles, using movies as the primary tool.
To know God is everything and has to be everything in your life. The way we come to experience knowing God is by having that be our only desire. When we say only desire, we mean only desire. Jesus is telling us that once our desire becomes single, then we return to our natural state of spirit or creation. That's what it means to have a single desire or you could call it desire-less-ness. Because Oneness doesn't really want for anything. Is-ness, Spirit, and Reality don't have any wants or needs.
The peace of God is everything I want. The peace of God is my one goal; the aim of all my living here, the end I seek, my purpose and my function and my life, while I abide where I am not at home.
