stating that her work had become her “metaphorical husband.” It was at that moment that Linendoll realized she had become everything she’d thought she would marry one day, and she knew other women would relate.
When speaking about the message behind the track, she exclaims, “This song is for everyone, no matter your status. I hope it makes you smile. I hope you sing along, and for my fellow single renaissance ladies, I hope it makes you realize everything you’ve been looking for you had all along!”
Linendoll paired with acclaimed music video director Seth Kupersmith on location to create a music video for the single. Together, they brought the lyrics to life through the use of cleverly staged mannequins and fashion in a mansion in Nashville, Tennessee.
Wanting her music to be more than a work of art, a portion of all proceeds for “Renaissance Lady” will be supporting K9 Hurricane’s Heroes. Hurricane is a highly trained, highly decorated former Secret Service dog that stopped a White House intruder in 2014. His namesake non-profit provides retired law enforcement and military K9s with subsidized veterinary care so they can live a long and healthy life post-service.
