Max is back from vaca as the kids say, and having spent a week on the road in this, the United States of America, and he has a lot of catching up to do after a rather heavy week of drinking. But first Max has to talk about John McCain, and Donald Trump’s response, or rather lack thereof. Trump is not invited to McCain’s funeral, and as if to place an exclamation point, McCain had a statement read out after his death reminding us what a great country the United States is. And in attempting to catch up from the week he missed, Max does find time to talk about Fox and Friends even though any interview on that program is so lightweight it would essentially float away like a feather. Next Max jumps into the new trade deal with Mexico, which turns out to be nothing more than a reordering of NAFTA and even then needs to be ratified by congress. Max then jumps into Donald Trump and Scientology and what it takes to believe something that when you realise makes no sense whatsoever you are able to keep believing it through thick and thin. Finally Max explains that preschoolers are probably the smartest human beings on the planet.
