Who’s in for a better-for-you adult beverage? This week we chat with Local Roots Hard Kombucha’s co-founder Joe Carmichael and sales representative, Joe Fuentes.

Health issues are what originally drew Carmichael to non-alcoholic kombucha. He decided he wanted to make the switch from vectors to scobys to follow his passion and make this healthy beverage fun. The crew started with recipes revolving around interesting cocktail flavors, including Cali Mule and Strawberry Mojito, to give people an idea of what to expect in their beverage. Joe and Joe discuss their company ethos – bringing people together, giving back to their community, and putting their booch where their mouth is.
