28-year-old Dyllan Monroe did not let his disability of cerebral palsy with ataxia (as he says for all the medical nerds out there😊) stop him from living a life of purpose. You will want to lean in, as he carefully articulates, to hear the strength of his message: to represent, with excellence, individuals with disability. His initial rejection by music academia in one University did not derail him. “NO” can be a blessing if you CHOOSE that it is a blessing. He let that experience FUEL his drive to a different campus, Western University in London, Ontario, where a level of success he hadn’t even anticipated was waiting for him.
