Family, whether it’s biological or not are supposed to be your safe haven, people that, especially as a child, offer you love and protection. Growing up in a blended family offers opportunities to receive that love and protection from more people than your DNA attaches you to, but for 12 year old Tia Sharp, that sadly wasn’t the case.
