The pandemic has done a 180 on healthy living. Maybe you've kept your focus or slipped more than you care to admit. Either way, is your hope in your weight? For one reason or another, sometimes our greatest excuse is weight.  Desire to be supported and encouraged by other like-minded women? But for whatever reason, when we don't like what we see or how we feel in our own skin, we back away from everything. And that comes by choice or by excuse.  Think about this for a moment.  Is it good to place all your eggs in one basket? NO!! That's common sense, right? But this is how we treat ourselves. If we don't like the reflection we see, we run away and hide for many reasons, sometimes we don't even know why. Is your hope in your weight? Are you waiting for your weight to be a certain number before you go and do what you've been called to do? First off, your health should be a priority not because of who you feel like you need to impress, but because it's you! Your body deserves attention.  So why not remodel your health. The K.I.S.S. ~ Remodel your health! Now please understand. This is not about becoming the "average" person out there. You know all those declaimers that read the average person will lose 2 lbs. a week with exercise and a balanced meal. You are not average. You are you. And you matter!! When you remodel your health, it's all about you as an individual and unique to your body and needs. I want you to think about some really serious things.
  • your genetics
  • your season
  • your hormones
  • your reasons
  • your habits
  • your excuses
  • your why
All of these are areas you must address when you remodel your body. Now some of these areas you might be able to control. Where other areas will take more work and research. But all of them play a vital part in your health journey. I would encourage you to think outside the box. 
  1. Nothing is impossible. You can gain muscle. You can lose weight. But it's what you do every day, the intention of your actions, that will set apart your remodel. Because this is for you.
  2. Do what you can do now. You don't want to wait for 3 or 4 months to get started on your remodel. Time is of the essence. If it's drinking more water, fabulous. If it's eating more vegetables, wonderful. If it's walking every evening after dinner, sensational.
  3. Never say never. You can remodel your body. It may take a couple of years. But aren't you worth it? Sometimes we try to achieve a goal to secure our future, but does it? No! You have got to look at your body from a holistic point of view. Everything you do matters.
So take stock in your every day. Don't let today slip away just because you got in the way. You matter!! Your hope is not in the number on the scale. But what you hold true in your heart, is the scale that matters.  So don't lie to yourself about who you need to become in order to live the dream God has for you. Do something every day for your health. Don't make it a major project. It's a remodel.
