My thoughts on Netflix's Mini Series When They See us. Based on true events on April 19th 1989 a 28 yr old white female jogger was brutally attacked and raped 5 black and Latino boys were coerced to confess to the crime. In 2002 Korey Wise, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Yusef Salaam, and Raymond Santana were exonerated when the true rapist confessed to the crime that did 6-14 years in prison for.
