Kenny Warren thought the Queen of Victoria was going down. He was one of the passengers on board the BC Ferry heading for Swartz Bay in August of 1970 when it was hit by a Russian freighter in Active Pass and nearly sliced in two. There was mass panic, screaming, confusion, and in the end three people died including an Esquimalt mother and her baby. In this episode we sit down with Kenny to ask him what he remembers about the moment the ferry was hit.
