President Jimmy Carter said Thursday that the cancer spreading through his body is a form of melanoma, and he'll begin undergoing radiation treatment immediately. They have determined, however, that the disease has spread to his liver and to his brain.Doctors "found that there were four spots of melanoma on my brain...they are very small spots, about two millimeters," Mr. Carter said. "I'll get my first radiation treatment for the melanoma in my brain this afternoon."
