Demonstrators are listening to impassioned pleas for stronger gun control on Boston Common from students who organized a massive rally in the wake of a Florida school shooting that left 17 people dead.Students and teachers are addressing the crowd after marching to the Common for Boston’s version of the worldwide rallies called March for Our Lives. The procession started at Madison Park Technical Vocational High School in Roxbury. Police said earlier that they expected about 50,000 people to participate in the march and rally.
But after leaving his golf club on Saturday afternoon, DJ Trump’s motorcade took a longer, less-direct route back to his Mar-a-Lago estate, where he is staying this weekend.
DJ Trump’s typical route would have taken him by Dreher Park in West Palm Beach, the gathering point for the local March for Our Lives demonstration.
