Episode Ninety Eight - No Mercy 1999 (UK)
Very few things in wrestling remainly fairly rare. Nowadays wrestling storylines and angles tend to be rehashed versions of the old. Most wrestlers feel very much old hat after a year or so on a roster, but back in 1999 WWF did something fairly rare. That was to hold two pay per views called No Mercy, five months apart. One held in the UK and one held in the US, and featuring Triple H and Stone Cold in each main event, and Mideon...plenty of Mideon! We are checking out both events back to back to round out our first century of podcast's before we celebrate our one Hundred! So which country had it better, well, we start with the UK version, a show that may on the surface seem cobbled together, Droz versus Blackman, Mankind versus Billy Gunn, but in reality, was this show that bad? Only one way to find out, you'd better call creative and find out!
