Of course, we're big believers in the power and efficacy of influencer marketing but there's always a few bad apples in every business and the latest influencer scam had us scratching our heads wondering how people even come up with this stuff. A group of influencers is being sued by Amazon for using TikTok and Instagram Stories to sell counterfeit luxury items on the eCommerce site. They created listings for seemingly benign household items and told followers if they purchased from the fake listing they'd get a counterfeit version of products from Gucci, Disney, and more.
