John Mayall is an English blues singer, guitarist, organist and songwriter, whose musical career spans over fifty years. From the age of 13 he taught himself to play, developing his own style with the help of a neighbor’s piano, borrowed guitars, and secondhand harmonicas. John moved to London in 1963, where he founded John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, a band which has counted among its members some of the most famous blues and blues rock musicians, including Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jack Bruce, John McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Mick Taylor and Aynsley Dunbar.
