1. We are looking at a mixed session today. The Russell 2000 index (IWM) is weak again this morning down .2, but the tech heavy NASDAQ Composite is strong. A lot of this week's action has to do with options expiration that is this coming Friday. Often, throughout the week we will see  a lot of equities that have been trending higher pullback and many that have been weak rally up a little bit. Remember, volume is the real key to this market. If a market move takes place with volume behind it then it is really talking. Transports down, banks stocks down over 1% and some industrials are down. Retail is weak. Lots of rumors.

2. The COVID-19 vaccine by Johnson & Johnson is being halted today due to reports of people experiencing blood clots from the shot. It does not seem to be having too much of an impact on the markets today, but if more negative news comes out about it that could spell trouble down the road.   

3. SPACs under attack by proposed SEC rule change on warrants.

4. Gold/Silver gold miners up, gold futures up and a good set-up. 1800 is in the offing. Silver is having a great day SLV up 2%.
