Solo episode: Today I’m addressing the medical movement that seems to me should be right on the heels of this police brutality movement. I mean, riiiiight?!?!? I mean, let’s keep the same energy and momentum to fight for BIPOC rights to equal healthcare in U.S. medical spaces-ESPECIALLY for black women in the midst of the ongoing maternal health crisis. Yes, that is still happening.

Let the Medical Movement Commence! I did my research on #whitecoatsforblacklives, cause y’all know they got major sideeye from me at first. Who are the power players we REALLY need to get on board with this movement? What really happens when institutions and nonprofits look to our community in their efforts to “help” the community? Why this racial justice movement is THE moment to hold the U.S. healthcare system accountable. We can’t afford to let it pass! Oh, and the definition of CARE! Cause I don’t think the healthCARE system is aware.
