"I AM...neither SEEKING TO BE SOLD or NEEDING TO BUY," as Verse 13 states so succintly. Verse 12 speaks of being (9) "RESOLVED IN THE REALITY." Beyond grieving and sorrow, there is resolution and resolve. To see that what was sacrificed, produced Life is beyond words...The brilliant death "of me" is a PERFECT PICTURE of (10) REVIVIFICATON....A noun defined as: REVIVIFY, REVIVE; TO BRING BACK OR RETURN TO LIFE, CONSCIOUSNESS OR ACTIVITY - MAKE OR BECOME FRESH or STRONG (AGAIN); TO BRING BACK INTO USE...How beautiful is that to see and know that through all the encounters with Grief, a kinship was forged though separation was a necessary affair in returning to LIFE, CONSCIOUSNESS and UNITY and Miss Perceived perceived this exchange, up close and personal.

(8) Sorrow (DEEP DISTRESS, SADNESS or REGRET) is the cause of Grief EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, resultant (9) Grieving: TO FEEL GRIEF. Sorrow is the CAUSE, Grieving is the EFFECT.

Sometimes we may perceive something to be that isn't or somthing that isn't as if it were and in both scenarios, there is a (7) mis-perception. Perception is a non defined as: AN ACT OR WILL OF PERCEIVING. Perceive is a verb defined as: TO ATTAIN AWARENESS OR UNDERSTANDING; TO BECOME AWARE OF THROUGH THE SENSES. And thus (7) Misperception is TO PERCEIVE INCORRECTLY....Tears are streaming down the Face of Incorrect Perception who appears to be in a state of "bereavement" as Grieving and Sorrow have taken their places in the framework of undertsanding that GRIEF is still at rest, at peace, at ease and I with it...as the trial gets underway as we (Misperception and I) settle.

We have queried the tears of Miss Perception during the (6) faceoff. Now one punctuation or the lack thereof, affects its meaning. We will look at both. Face-off is a noun defined as: A METHOD OF BEGINNING PLAY BY DROPPING A BALL OR PUCK (as in hockey) BETWEEN TWO OPPOSING PLAYERS, EACH OF WHICH ATTEMPTS TO CONTROL IT; THE CLASHING OF FORCES OR IDEAS: CONFRONTATION. And Face Off (without the hyphen) is a verb defined as: TO BE or COME INTO OPPOSITION OR COMPETITION. Face-off is synonymous with: BATTLE, COMBAT, CONFLICT, CONFRONTATION, CONTEST, DUEL, RIVALRY, STRUGGLE--more @ CONTEST. Face off's synonyms are: BATTLE, COMPETE, CONTEND, FIGHT, RACE, VIE--more @ COMPETE. They both tie in with the word that succeeds faceoff in that verse, "trial," which is another discussion for another time but worth noting the continuity in the message expressed here. There are opposing parties at a trial, right? Plaintiff and Defendant. Moving on...

Oh! Antonyms for Brilliance are: BLACKNESS, DARK, DARKNESS, DUSKINESS...Dusk is the: DARKER PART of TWILIGHT, especially @ NIGHT; PARTIAL DARKNESS. Dusky is to be: somewhat DARK IN COLOR; MARKED BY SLIGHT OR DEFICIENT LIGHT (OBSCURE). Verse 5 speaks about "The Beauty" of oblivion...Would like to do a comparison with "Obscurity and Oblivion" at another time..So noted...Lol

Basking in the glory, we come face to face with Grief again in Verse 7. He is sitting on the bench as a judge and witness. Having cross-examined my old friend many times, I've no desire to delve any deeper and muster the wherewithal to declare, "No further questions, Your Honor." We sta together on that bench looking with our natural eyes and seeing with our spiritual one. This is a new place for us both. Stillness engages and I face the Reality that our relationship has changed. So those tears streaming down the face of Miss Perception can be read as both, grievous and sorrowful, depending on how you see it, at the time that you saw it...wink

Still in Verse 6...Who is this precipice and what is it being filled with? Well, (5) Precipice is a noun defined as: a steep cliff. It is synonymous with: BLUFF, CLIFF, CRAG, ESCARPMENT, PALISADE, SCARP--more @ CLIFF. A cliff is a HIGH STEEP (FACE) OF ROCK, EARTH OR ICE. I find it interesting that a CLIFF-hanger is a CONTEST WHOSE OUTCOME IS IN DOUBT UP TO THE VERY END, much like the trial that is commencing in Verse 10. Brilliance is the QUALITY OR STATE OF BEING BRILLIANT. And for variety, we will look at two definitions...(a) It is a noun defined as: A GEM CUT IN A PARTCULAR FORM WITH MANY FACETS and (b) is an adjective defined as: VERY BRIGHT, STRIKING, DISTINCTIVE, VERY INTELLIGENT. Words synonymous with Brilliance are: AUGUSTNESS, GLORY. GRANDEUR, GRANDNESS, MAGNIFICENCE, MAJESTY, NOBILITY, NOBLENESS, RESPLENDENCE, SPLENDOR, STATELINESS--more @ MAGNIFICENCE. So MAGNIFICENT GLORY filled the face of the rock, earth nd/or ice. I was filled with glory, after empying of Grief, parting ways with my old, familiar friend whom I know very well and will see again. But for now, this GLORY...

In Verse 6, Grief and I separate, part ways and remain true in the place where we became, both, combustible and combustion. To be combustible, one must be CAPABLE OF BEING BURNED; synonymous with: FLAMMABLE, IGNITABLE, INFLAMMABLE; also: EXPLOSIVES, INCENDIARY while combustion is a noun defined as: AN ACT OR INSTANCE OF BURNING...SLOW OXIDATION (as in the "animal" body. Antonyms of Combustible: FIREPROOF, INCOMBUSTIBLE, NONCOMBUSTIBLE, NONFLAMMABLE and NONINFLAMMABLE. Combustible is, both, a noun and adjective...In a sense, Grief and I combusted becoming combustible combustion.. *Noteworthy: To oxidize is to combine with oxygen

And so we see in Verse 5, that the body of Grief (solid matter) is disintegrating (breaking down) into liquid matter before returning to gas matter. Liquid flows freely is neither solid nor gaseous; one requires cold and the other, hot or heat.

(2) Shard is a noun defined as: BROKEN PIECES, FRAGMENTS. (3) Disintegrate is a verb defined as: TO BREAK OR DECOMPOSE INTO CONSTITUENT PARTS or SMALL PARTICLES; TO DESTROY THE UNITY or INTEGRITY OF. It is synonymous with: BREAK DOWN, CORRUPT, DECAY, DECOMPOSE, MOULDER, PUTREFY, ROT, SPOIL--more @ DECAY...Decompose is to: "separate" into constituent parts; to break down in decay: ROT. What comes to mind is, "this is my body which is broken for you" and as often as you eat this bread (allow your body or bodies) to be broken, you do this "in remembrance" of me...talk about a reformation!!!

We are celebratng the loss and embracing the new place, the fruit (result, produce) of our combustion, where the "sh*t hit the fan," so to say. And we picking up the shards, placing them in a "neat" pile and watching them disintegrate.

Verse 2 speaks about knowing Grief and seeing it again which occurs in Verse 7 where we are looking Grief in the face as we are on on trial with "Misperception." It's like THE PEOPLE VS. Miss Perception, if you will. And so here we are seeing Grief, again and under different circumstances and because I am intimately acquainted with Grief, I have no further questions or desire for futher examination...having bid farewell to this "former" thing in Verse 4.

1. Grief is a noun that is defined as: EMOTIONAL DISTRESS CAUSED BY OR AS IF BY BEREAVEMENT; also: A CAUSE OF SUCH DISTRESS. It is synonymous with: AFFLICTION, ANGUISH, DOLOR, HEARTACHE, SORROW, WOE---more @ SORROW. Grieve is a verb which means: TO CAUSE and/or TO FEEL EMOTIONAL DISTRESS. Grieving the death of a love one is to be in bereavement and the "bereaved" is one who is grieving.

In Verse 1, Grief is taking its final rest and "we" on to greem pastures; with the understanding that the "rest' can be interrupted (within) in a moment of memory relapse. These relapses in memory "serve to remind" that we have been here with Grief before and may be, again as we remain "in" rest. The ability to remain at/in rest in the midst of Grief is the epitome of stillness.
