We have not been this excited to do a show in quite some time. Yesterday’s Orlando City match against FC Cincinnati was the closest thing to a “must win” game as you can get in the MLS in May, and the Lions delivered. Lord Commander of the UCF Knights’ Watch, Charles, tempered his excitement a bit since FCC is basically hot garbage, but Doc refused to let him rain on the parade.
Our “Soccer Sherpa” Simon Veness joins us with a fantastic Four Minute Monologue, and after his recap of the City match, raises a point of contention with Doc over the suspension of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Simon believes it was the right call. Doc is livid that MLS is robbing him of seeing one of the only two players in MLS worth circling a date on the calendar.
