In 2001, we had a son named Andrew that passed away after 25 days of in the hospital from unknown causes. Several years later, Andrew's older brother Nicholas was diagnosed with Myotonic Muscular Dystrophy (MMD). Through genetic testing, it was discovered that MMD was the cause of Andrew's death. We are now working to support the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) by generating research funds to find a cure for Nicholas, and the many other individuals in the Toledo area that are affected by one of the 43 neuromuscular diseases (including ALS).
