The M's had an off day yesterday but with the Angels losing, they managed to pick up a half game on them. If the M's play just .500 ball the rest of the way, the Angels would have to play 17 games over .500 to catch them. The M's start their road trip against the Yankees today and it's obviously going to be a difficult few days playing the next six games at Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park. Would you take a 2-4 record after these next six games? There's been a lot of talk about the Mariners acquiring JA Happ, and he'd certainly make the rotation better, but do we really need another starting pitcher?
