The Mariners are playing the Rays later this afternoon, and Matt Wisler will open the game on the mound for the M's. Wait, who's Matt Wisler? Didn't we ask this same question a week ago? Turns out he's been pitching for the M's for about six weeks. We just aren't paying enough attention to this team because... let's face it, it doesn't matter this year. They aren't even trying to win games. There might be reason to pay a littl emore attention though. Outfield prospect Jake Fraley is set to make his big league debut, and now we've found out Felix will start against the Blue Jays on Saturday. This seems like kind of an odd move. Why would you put him out there when he's going to be a visiting pitcher in his own house? Why not wait for another series? Baker Mayfield has tried to walk back his comments on Daniel Jones, but the damage is done. It's not a surprise Cleveland has rallied around a guy like him, but it'll be hard not to smile a little when he inevitably throws a pick this season. What is going on in Oakland?
