Kyler Murray declared himself eligible for the NFL Draft today, further raising questions about what his future actually holds. Will he play for the H's? Will he play QB after getting drafted in the first round? It's much easier to make an impact and more importantly make your money if you're a first-round NFL draft pick. In baseball, you play in the minors for years, and even when you make the big league, you still aren't making a ton of money. In the NFL you're up right away and the team is going to put the effort in to make you a top level player. All things considered, football is the better option. Three of the four games this weekend lacked the intrigue of the wild card weekend games, but we recap them nonetheless.
