He wasn't eavesdropping, but Michael overheard breaking news in our sister station's newsroom that Governor Jared Polis was expanding the threat level color wheel to include the diabolical 'purple' level. Which is worse than 'red.' Which was pretty bad to begin with, as it necessitated lockdowns for Colorado residents. Short of that, businesses located in Denver, Arapahoe, and Jefferson Counties will now be closed for indoor services - as of Friday, November 20. And Michael is at his wit's end about it.
