Mark Haviland interviews Dr. David M. Tripold, author of "Sing to the Lord a New Song." During their 21-minute interview, Tripold discusses his publication, his current research, the book he plans to complete in 2018, and some of the history associated with the music of the Dutch Reformed Church. Tripold and Haviland also address the author's research methodology, methods, specific research trends, prior scholars emulated by Tripold, and various approaches to research.
