Welcome to This Edition of RiversZen Today for Monday, November 26th, 2018

The news of the day: Thanksgiving is over, the remainder of the holidays will be a blur and before you know it, 2019 will be upon us. We ponder each week to select our focus for the next week and this week we decided that ”focus” was what we all needed. From here on out for the rest of the year most of what we do is concentrate on gifts, parties, food preparation, decorations and lots of driving . . . with very little time left for you! For the rest of the year we are hoping you will become more mindful . . . at least during our classes. Think about why you are there. What part of your body is supposed to be working? Are you breathing? Is your brain elsewhere thinking about gifts, work, running more errands, a myriad of issues other than you? We know life is demanding, especially this time of year. Please make an effort to leave all that at the door . . . kerfuffle as Peter so perfectly shares it . . . will always be there after class if you want it back. I’m not saying this is an easy task . . . but, one that will be truly appreciated by your mind and body if you can allow all the stuff cluttering your brain to go for just an hour or so.
