It's time to start getting into a new world, and this is a distinct and very different one from a lot of others I've visited. We get an immediate sense that the world Lindon lives in is very small, and yet there's someone getting data about it from the outside, or from the future, which implies that there's something more we haven't seen. Lindon is struggling, because he apparently has no soul, and I feel bad for the kid. These people are real dicks if you don't have a soul.
