I'm much happier with this episode than the last one, even though I'm still rather unhappy that Quentin and Alice are remaining together. First off, we get to see the Beast in action again, which is fascinating, and we get the reveal that Eliza is actually Jane, and has a previous connection to Fillory. Not that it matters, because she dies horribly and VERY preventably.
I also really like getting to see more emotional range from Eliot, which is almost precisely what I asked for last episode. It's heartbreaking, but I'm really interested to see where that goes, and if things between him and Margo change because of it.
