Hello everyone! I don't know if I've used this illustration of John Marcone yet, but if I have it's been a while so here it is again. There's precious little artwork of him out there, and most of what I have found fails to convey any real sense of menace or intelligence. This one is the best I've seen, and I picture him like this when I read.
These chapters are the ones in which Dresden soulgazes Helen Beckett and realizes that she's not a shill...which leads him to realize who the actual threat really is. As he heads out to track down "Priscilla", he discovers Molly in the backseat of the car, and exacts a harsh lesson on her that Karrin clearly does NOT approve of.
