I meant to use this piece of artwork for the second episode covering the invasion of Arctis Tor, but I decided instead to opt for a more hopeful image of Charity splayed out happily in the church with her kids, safe and sound. However, in trying to find a satisfactory image of the trial of Molly Carpenter, I came up woefully short and decided that I would take a step back and use this piece after all because it's beautiful, if terrible and tragic.
This episode, Molly goes to see the White Court, and it goes so much more poorly than Harry had expected. He goes in with some kind of plan, but when he realizes that the Merlin holds almost all the votes it's really a blow. Harry manages to outmaneuver the Merlin in the end, bu it turns out that doing too well is just as much of a death sentence as failing entirely, and the Merlin orders Molly's execution to be carried out immediately.
