Greetings, friends! I hope that those of you who celebrate Thanksgiving are having a lovely time with friends and/or family, eating and drinking a lot, and feeling thankful! Those of you who don't celebrate it...I wish the same thing!
This episode is a slightly creepier one, more in the same vein as the Dickens episode in tone. There's a mystery here, with a strange child that wanders around plaintively begging for his mom, and he's wearing an old-timey gas mask so that makes it EXTRA creepy. By the time the episode wraps up, we're still in the middle of this story and I'm not sure what's going on.
Also, Malcolm Merlyn is in this episode playing a dashing rogue with a spaceship of his own, and while I obviously think the Doctor is right not to trust him, I also figure the Doctor is mostly jealous of his charm. He wants Rose all to himself, obviously.
Thank you so much for listening, and I will see you in 2 weeks with a new episode!
