Sheila Wilson's guest today is Debra Falzoi and the discussion was about how she was bullied at work and from that she created Dignity Together.
She spoke about different methods the perpetrators use; some are very nice others are not. We also spoke about how this affects us, the emotional turmoil, doubting ourselves, not believing this is happening to us. What am I doing wrong to have this happen?
Sometimes it takes months to believe you are in a bullied situation. She stated it took about 6 months to realize her situation and she left that environment. There is legislation out there to help the employee, not in every State yet.! “Having a safe workplace benefits not only the employee but the public and the business”.
