My guest today is, Shawn Park. While I have valuable relationships with all of my previous guests, Shawn is different. He’s my brother from another mother, professionally speaking that is.
I’ve known Shawn as long as anyone in the industry and we have followed freakishly similar paths; having both moved to corporate from boutique staffing agencies that no one ever heard of.
That move was leading corporate recruitment for what was then, WarrenShepell for over 10 years combined.
Our next move(s), both of us onto public sector healthcare. All I’ll say is; I hope that move is going better for Shawn than it did for me!
I give Shawn a bit of a hard time in this episode (like a big brother should), but we’re by no means twins. Shawn has so much more that I admire. He’s poised, thoughtful and chooses his words with the elegance if his English “forefathers”. He’s never left anything even close to the way he found it.
