Sailor Noob is the podcast where a Sailor Moon superfan and a total noob go episode by episode through the original Sailor Moon series!

It's time once again for fun in the sun as Rei and the gang head to a private island to enjoy swimming and seafood and (if there's time) training. But when Chibi-Usa decides she doesn't like fish, she'll be swept up in an adventure that ends with dinosaurs and molten lava!

In this episode, we discuss Japanese cryptids (Issie, kirin, Kussie, kappa, Ningen, tsuchinoko), Lake Ikeda, shirikodama, Ōsanshōuo (giant pepper fish), ika (squid), Turbo sazae, yakizakana (grilled fish), sugatayaki or "grilled as a whole", and shioyaki or "salt-grilled". We also talk about learning to love fish, summer montages, teenage search parties, being "Jean Grey psychic", grill chauvinism, Luna-P victimhood, seasick cats, evil rocks, river boys, head bowls, curly muffins, some X-Files and Scooby Doo talk, and Kal gives us another "What I Think Is Happening"!
