Kevin Smith, Communications Specialist, The Blessed John Paul II Shrine. The Knights of Columbus has established a shrine to Blessed John Paul II in Washington, D.C. In addition to the shrine itself, there are plans for the site to include exhibits on the life and legacy of Blessed John Paul II, and an exhibit on the Catholic heritage of North America. The Shrine is presently open to the public on a limited basis while major exhibitions are developed on the life and papacy of Blessed John Paul II.
