She began her career as a journalist where she covered business, government, politics and education for 20 years. She won the Utah Newspaper Associations Best Photography Award and the Utah School Board’s Award for Exceptional Journalism. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Creative Writing and now lives in Colorado with her two children.
