IBD is something that is very close to my heart and I am very passionate about raising awareness of this disease that is often hidden due the embarrassing nature of it........ POO.

I'm on a mission to make poo less taboo!

Crohn's disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UC) are two of the most common autoimmune diseases in the world.

They are conditions in which the body's immune system mistakenly attacks its own tissues.

CD affects the digestive system, while UC affects the colon and rectum.

For people with CD, symptoms can vary widely, but can often include chronic diarrhoea, abdominal pain, weight loss, and fatigue.

People with UC often have similar symptoms, but may also experience frequent rectal bleeding, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and bloating.

Because these diseases are so common and can have such a wide range of symptoms, they can be difficult to talk about with friends and family.

This podcast is designed to help you start a conversation about Crohn's and colitis.

If you have been diagnosed with IBD or IBS or you have a friend/loved one who has, I want to help you understand it more and to have the confidence to talk about it.

Don't suffer in silence, let's make poo less taboo.
