Jared is General Manager of Mark’s company, Professional Floor Systems in Shelley, ID. PFS provides the best floors in the NBA and Division 1 NCAA basketball, and was recently featured on NBCSports for San Jose State’s new glow-in-the dark floor.
In 2016 Jared was sentenced to 20 years in an Idaho State prison for Grand Theft Embezzlement. He served 5 years before being granted parole. Jared’s book “Devils and Fires. Thieves and Liars” will be published this year. His memoir highlights his incarceration, including fighting California wildfires on a prison fire crew, and 3 years in a private for-profit prison on the Texas-Mexico border.

Great podcast! There was a lot of things said from Jared and Mark that I felt was something I needed to hear and I think it is worth listening to. Jared is a awesome boss and a even better friend, but if he ever makes me cry again I'm hitting him in the throat. I'm not a crying type of person. Thank you to Mark and Jared again!
