Franklin Leon Buzzard was born on
June 27th ,1938, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Franklin Falling and Mary Buzzard. Bro. Leon Buzzard was much more
excited about his second birth. Many of
you have heard the testimony. “On a cold
December night -Dec 22nd, 1950, at old
Butler #2 when God reached out and saved
a twelve-year-old Indian boy.” He told of
the man dressed in blue, with piercing blue
eyes and snow-white hair who came down
the aisle in that little schoolhouse revival
and beckoned him to the altar. After services, when he looked for the man to thank
him, no one else had seen that man.

That was the beginning of his walk with God.
Not long afterward, he fully dedicated his
life to the Lord, and received the Holy
Ghost and a call to preach. He began
preaching sometime around the age of 13
years old.

After walking with the Lord for over 54
years, preaching revivals, camp meetings, and pastoring eight
different churches, he received another beckoning call, this time
to come on home to receive his reward. On Friday afternoon,
May 20th, 2005, while resting at his earthly home in Oklahoma,
he answered that call.
