In this episode, we talk about community dialogue and the concept of Living Room Conversations. Sharing personal experience can be much stronger than arguing about different opinions and debating about personal sentiment. It all starts with the willingness to talk, conversation agreements and finding the right topic to talk about. We discuss what it means to be part of a community and why dialogue is so important on different levels. We talk about how to address sex education if schools prohibit to do so and we elaborate ways to openly take up topics such as LGBTQ, domestic violence and gun restrictions with people who have very different beliefs and values. You will learn about the importance of diversity in a conversation and how to reach out to other communities to discuss any sensitive topic. You will get to know what conversations are being hosted most recently and we discuss the difference of physical and virtual conversations and the felt impact of both.

Make sure to let me know your thoughts and join the conversation.
